Yokohama Country & Athletic Club held its yearly open day on Saturday 30th of October. It is an opportunity for the entire Yamate community to get together and enjoy Halloween-themed attractions, games, live music, and a number of exhibitions offered by its resident clubs.

Yokohama AikiDojo was asked to participate through holding its usual 10am - 12pm class outside for all to enjoy. We also followed up with a short demonstration, which was recorded on the video above. A few of us gathered a week or so before the event to prepare the demonstration. Most participants have just a little over one year of practice but in spite of that, and of the pressure of performing in front an audience, they did very well indeed! We are already looking forward to next year's event, this time, thanks to the more comfortable deadline, with the participation of the all Yokohama AikiDojo members!
