We are pleased to announce that during the Kanagawa Prefecture Aikido Federation Board Meeting held on June 7th, Yokohama AikiDojo Dojo-cho, Guillaume Erard Shihan, was officially elected to the Federation’s Board of Directors.
Guillaume Sensei expressed his gratitude and commitment during his speech to the Federation officers:
"I have been interacting with many of you for the past 5 years, and I feel very grateful about how friendly and supportive you have been as a group, and as individuals, since I arrived in Yokohama. Now, it is time for me to reciprocate, and I look forward to contributing to the action of the Kanagawa Prefecture Aikido Federation, to the best of my ability."
In his new role, Guillaume will also provide valuable support thanks to his expertise in Education Sciences, as well as in media creation and marketing, helping to promote Kanagawa Aikido and its activities to a wider audience.
Alongside Guillaume, Suwa Masatoshi Shihan was also elected to the Board during the same meeting, bringing additional experience to the Federation’s leadership.

We are very happy as a dojo as this will no doubt consolidate our excellent relationships with the other dojos of the prefecture, and we would like to congratulate Guillaume Sensei for joining the Board and look forward to his contributions to the growth and development of Aikido in Kanagawa.
